 Meaning of the brand name "Joolie"
"Joolie" brand name takes its origin from two sources. Its first meaning is the acronym for "Joy Of Our Life". The second meaning comes from the French word "jolie" which means "beautiful". Our brand symbol, a wooden chest with an opened top, represents a special place in your heart that keeps some sort of treasure. We wish for our bag to be like your favorite companion or a treasure box, so you can carry your favorite things or something special and valuable for every day.

The philosophy of our manufacturing process
Our products are produced in the small studio in Tokyo. All the components of our bags including the details such as cutting, sewing and decoration are carefully crafted by hand. Usage of various materials, which is considered as one of our special features, is accomplished due to the unique collection of materials carefully selected from different countries and different periods. The quantity of each material is limited and because of this it is impossible to make the same item in big number. We pride ourselves on paying close attention to the making process of every bag and spare no effort when it comes to every single detail. To achieve the affection we want our customers to feel for our bags, we could never compromise on the quality of our materials or reduce the amount of care and time we put into the details.
